Soap done

FINALLY the soap is done and in the dry room. I was suppose to do bath salts today, but the boss (me) gave me the day off. Tired, tired, tired. I sure wish I could post the smell of my house. It smells so good, people comment on my handouts, letters in the post box, even the smell inside of my car! Hopefully the scent will start to fade soon, or poor Tim will need to start sleeping in the camper as it is really getting to him!

I am enjoying listening to the book "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay. I have enjoyed it so much... I am listening to it again. (I don't seem to have time to read so I listen to books)

SOAP!

Well, goodness. I started soaping and forgot all about the blog! I did make lots of soap and restocked the shelves and yesterday started soaping again this time getting ready for the fall shows. I made 24 logs of soap and that is just a drop in the bucket for what I need. I ordered 20 bottles of scent and am trying 3 new scents this year. I made up the Pomegranate and I am sure that is going to be a winner! I will let it set a few weeks to make sure it isn't going to discolor and will make more. Pomegranate in candles does well, and I think this Pomegranate in soap will do well also.

In the winter I pour the soap in molds on the dining room table, in the summer I set tables up outside in the garage. I didn't get tim to set up enough tables, so I had to pour both places last night.

I LOVE WHAT I DO!

We are in the car driving to pensacola. I am looking forward to three days on the beach (hoping I don't get scorched the first day). Tim and I look forward to this mini vacation every year.

Had a fun day at Hightower Elementary School with my pre-k grandson Jeremiah. Grandparents got to go on a walk in the woods with their little folk and collect nature goodies. Here is a picture of us in the lunch room with Jeremiahs bag of goodies and his little CUTE friend!

Kylers birthday party

We drove to Grovetown yesterday to help Kyler celebrate his 10th birthday. His other grandparents, Connie and Larry Burgy were there. They are such wonderful people! They recently returned from a church mission and I admire them so much!

Kyler is a cute little guy, and very talented!

Happy Anniversary Ryan and Betsy

Happy 9th Anniversary to Ryan and Betsy. They are off to Callaway Gardens for the day to bike and hike and sail. Fun for them!

I got to get the kids off to school... and to be here when the bus drops them off!

Rebekah (3) and I went shopping for a birthday gift for Kyler (turning 10 this week) - a cool art kit!

Today was the last lesson day of seminary - woo hoo! We finished the Book of Revelation... the kids were quite interested in Armageddon which is an interesting topic!

We will finish off the seminary year with a fun auction to use up our seminary bucks then tomorrow we will meet at Chick-fil-a for breakfast. Everyone is looking forward to sleeping in for the next few weeks of school!

Well, I see now how to make the picture bigger! Here is a picture of Tim working in "his" booth at the Greensboro fair. Both business's are actually mine (he reminds me often) but he does such a good job when we do shows that I think he needs to run this side of it! He reminds me that he is still happily employed with HP Computer and that keeps him pretty busy as it is.

We had such a good time yesterday at the Greensboro Festival. We met so many nice, nice people! The weather was beautiful and the crowds came out. I met a nice lady from Greensboro NC and Randy from Thomaston, just to name a few. Thanks for coming to visit us!

It's time

Ok, I seem to be the only member of the family without a blog... time to fix that. Not like I'm not on the computer all the time anyway!

Lets go on a Service Mission!
